Understanding American market

Let's segment market in four broad category as;

Generation:

1. Boomers: age group of 56 plus

2. Gen X: age blow 55 to 40

3. Millennials: age 39 to 24

4. Gen Z: age 23 to 12

If we are selling our product to the customers we are offer the experience to buy the product essentially to these market segments. The largest segment is 29% of population comprises of Gen Z. This segment is know for Mobility & defined by social media. I mean its really hard to target someone form boomers generation by social media but guess what! Gen Z is almost 99% available to offer our products.

Millennials are know for technology and urbanism, consist of 22% of population. One can easily target the tech product here. Life style and fitness products are most desired here. Green tea, weigh loss equipment, cosmetics and grooming products are really in demand in this segment.

Gen X know for recession and defined by balance. A settle life and good amount of funding available. Home decoration, interior design products, very high quality life style products are most demanded here. Note; here you don't just sell cosmetics but you deliver experience to purchase the best product that is most suitable for their life. Hard to target on social media. Find them in paid groups or specialized community where limited access is the norm. Hard it is to find better the chances of getting profit here.

Boomers, better target the Gen Z though boomers. Think about it, this generation is not going on line, but they proxy through the Gen Z.
