There are few and basic component of electric vehicle has, wiz; a powertrain (the motor) BLDC, AC or DC or Brushed electric motors are very capable to produce huge power and torque at zero RPM. This property makes a electric motor ideal for the automobile industry. Plus there is no or very little noise and vibration. Most important part is there is ZERO carbon emission from the vehicle. But, electric vehicle are powered by batteries and here is a catch. Battery technology has not evolved in compare to electric motor technology has. Whereas, if we analyze data from last two decades, the battery technology has shown a promising improvement for many applications.
